Dr. Erfani always enjoyed helping people and making them feel better about themselves. While he was always interested in medicine, it wasn’t until he spent a summer job-shadowing a dentist that he realized he should pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Erfani enrolled in the Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine
at Boston University. When he received his degree in 1993,
he was one of the youngest dentist in the history of the school
to do so.
Dr. Erfani was awarded a Fellowship in the Interntational
Congress of Oral Implantologists for Advanced training in
Dental Implants, as well as a Fellowship in the International
College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, for advanced training
in Neuromuscular Dentistry, and TMJ therapy. Dr. Erfanis
was also awarded the prestigeous Fellowship in the International
Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics, for his dedication and
contributions to the field of Cosmetic Dentistry as well
as its relationship to the facial esthetics.
Although Dr. Erfani has been in practice since 1993, he continues
to study the latest research and refine his skills and expertise.
He has attended some of the finest dental institutions in the
nation, such as PAC-Live, the Misch International Implant Institute,
The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, The Bremm Orthodontics
Institute and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies
(LVI). Dr. Erfani averages more than 150 continuing education
hours a year and has studied full mouth reconstruction, neuromuscular
occlusion, conscious oral sedation, and other topics. In addition
to being a graduate, he is also a Clinical Instructor at the
Las Vegas Institute (LVI). Dr. Erfani also belongs to distinguished organizations, such
as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy
of General Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation,
and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He volunteers
his time and dental skills to numerous organizations, including
the WIN Foundation and Smiles for Life. |
